Clinton P. Davis is based out of the firm's Chicago downtown office. He received his legal education at the John Marshall Law School and his Juris Doctor degree in 2014. Clinton joined the firm as an attorney in 2015.
Before and during his legal studies, Clinton focused his endeavors on litigation. While at Robert Morris University, he participated in John Marshall's National Undergraduate Diversity Mock Trial Competition, in which he earned a scholarship to attend law school. Throughout law school, Clinton clerked for the Felony Trial Division of Cook County Public Defender's office, for which he obtained a special Illinois license to practice law before graduation. There, under the supervision of licensed attorneys, he argued motions and second-chaired felony trials. Defendants were released home to their families, because he won every case that he was assigned.
Aside from his strong litigation background, Clinton's academic and professional background also includes numerous dean's lists and CALI Award honors. Clinton currently serves as Treasurer for First Defense Legal Aid - an organization that provides free attorneys to individuals detained in Chicago Police Department Custody. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced civil rights litigation and criminal defense.
Today, Clinton focuses on the area of civil litigation.
Clinton is a member of the Illinois Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association. He is also admitted to practice in the state of Illinois.
