Attorney Clinton P. Davis joined The Vrdolyak Law Group in 2015 after receiving his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School. He has experience practicing civil rights litigation and criminal defense, but he currently focuses on civil litigation.
Before and during his legal studies, Davis focused his endeavors on litigation. While earning his Bachelor's at Robert Morris University, he participated in John Marshall's National Undergraduate Diversity Mock Trial Competition where he earned a scholarship to attend law school.
Throughout law school, Davis clerked for the Felony Trial Division of Cook County Public Defender's office where he obtained a special Illinois license to practice law before graduation. Under the supervision of licensed attorneys, he argued motions and second-chaired felony trials. Davis won every case that he was assigned and defendants were released home to their families.
Aside from his strong litigation background, his academic and professional background also includes numerous Dean's List and CALI Award honors. He currently serves as Treasurer for First Defense Legal Aid - an organization that provides free attorneys to individuals detained in Chicago Police Department Custody.
Attorney Davis is a member of the Illinois Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association. He is also admitted to practice in the state of Illinois.
