Debra Davy grew up on the North Side of Chicago. She earned both a bachelor’s degree in Communication and a Law degree from Loyola University of Chicago, and a master’s degree in Communication from the University of Michigan, where she was a teaching fellow. Subsequently, she taught at the college level for 14 years, during and after law school.
Davy has been a litigator her entire legal career, as a malpractice defense attorney, a pro bono guardianship attorney, a commercial litigator, and a plaintiff’s lawyer. She’s tried numerous cases to successful verdicts.
- Prior to joining Vrdolyak, Davy was a partner at Hinshaw & Culbertson for 12 years where she was a partner in the medical malpractice group, where she successfully represented medical facilities and practitioners, and drug companies. She then went on to Arnstein & Lehr as a senior partner and head of the Department of Health Law, where she focused on medical malpractice cases, representing medical facilities and practitioners. -
Debra is a cultural arts writer for Splash Magazines Worldwide as Music Editor.
She also raises German Shepherd dogs.
