The Vrdolyak Law Group Obtains $700,000 for a Semi-Truck Accident Victim

CHICAGO, Oct. 17, 2017 - The Vrdolyak Law Group has recovered $700,000 for an Illinois man who was severely injured in a motor vehicle accident with a large semi-truck. The truck's insurance company refused to compensate the victim, claiming that he was not injured, despite the fact that the victim's injuries were serious enough to require neck and back injections.

The victim therefore retained the Vrdolyak Law Group, a Chicago-based law firm with experience handling cases against big trucking companies. The Vrdolyak Law Group spent tens of thousands of their own money to hire experts to prove the victim's injuries were due to the accident.

During the case, the Vrdolyak Law Group discovered that the truck's insurance company had been secretly video-taping the victim in an attempt to intimidate him.

"Insurance companies will try to discredit the victims to get out of compensating them," said Edward J. Vrdolyak, Managing Partner of the Vrdolyak Law Group. "It's important for our clients to know we'll fight for them."

The Vrdolyak Law Group took the case to mediation and successfully forced the semi-truck's insurance company to pay $700,000 for the client's injuries.

"There are a lot of semi-truck accidents and oftentimes the victims are bullied into accepting low-ball offers or nothing at all," said Steve Armbruster, Lead Attorney. "That's why they need the Vrdolyak Law Group to fight for them."
